Get on-demand guidance on everything from communication struggles and screen-time boundaries to mental health concerns and big milestones, plus resources to help manage your own stress along the way. It’s available anytime you need it, at no cost, to all BCBSIL participants and their household members.

Planning for braces? The MetLife PPO Plus option covers orthodontia:
Orthodontia is covered at 50% after the deductible is met, up to a $2,000 lifetime maximum per person in treatment (PPO Plus only — not covered under the standard PPO)
- Preventive (exams, cleanings, X-rays) is covered at 100% and includes two cleanings a year on both plans
- Basic services (fillings, extractions) are covered at 50% after the deductible (PPO) or 20% after the deductible (PPO Plus)
- Annual maximum is $1,500 (PPO) or $2,000 (PPO Plus)

Teen vision coverage
EyeMed supports teen eye health with an exam every 6 months for kids under 19 (instead of the standard 12-month cycle):
- Frame allowance is $130 (EyeMed) or $170 (EyeMed Enhanced), plus a 20% discount on any balance over the allowance
- Contact lens allowance is $150 (EyeMed) or $170 (EyeMed Enhanced), plus a 15% discount on any balance over the allowance
