You can’t always avoid accidents, but you can protect yourself from accident-related costs that strain your budget. Offered through MetLife, this plan is a supplement, not a replacement, to your medical coverage and is completely portable so you can take it with you if you leave the Company.
How it works
Accident Insurance provides an extra layer of financial protection by paying cash benefits directly to you when an unexpected injury occurs, such as a:
- Broken bone
- Concussion
- Laceration
The benefit is paid directly to you all at once to use for any purpose, such as paying out-of-pocket medical expenses, copays, deductibles, groceries, gas, utilities, and more. For a complete list of covered injuries and treatments, as well as exclusions and limitations, click here.
Earn money for getting a health screening
Earn up to $150 per covered participant
You and your covered dependents can each earn a $50 health screening benefit for completing a health screening or test, covering everything from annual physicals to colonoscopies and mammograms. You’ll earn $50 for each supplemental health care coverage you and your covered dependents are enrolled in: Accident Insurance, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity.
